Joaquin's in La Bocana

tonight will be the third night in a row we head over to Joaquin's restaurant ! We have guests come every night who want to eat there and when there is lobster involved - I am the first one out the door.

Nowadays Joaquin's son Leo is helping out and that makes el jefe happy!

The walls for those who have never been here or just miss them:

Ron's son from Mulege has this amazingly gentle GIANT of a dog:

Here is one group, just starting out with sashimi:

.

From there it went on to salad, Joaquin's famous creamed corn, shrimp, wahoo and lobster. HEAVEN

Was there a couple of weeks ago. I brought the shrimp and Julio brought the lobster. I am surprised you did not show up....what a boat Julio has and he trailered it all the way up to LA Bay after that.

Thanks for both posts- impressive interior decor, and boat.

Looking forward to a visit, Blanca! (Still working on various schedules for winter/spring travel SOB.)

There were no fewer than 20 of us last night and we all ate the most delicious lobster with melted butter. Oh my Oh my - such bliss. I was to busy gobbling the food but someone else got a shot and if I can get a copy, I will post the TRAY of lobsters.

This is a must see and go to place in La Bocana.
It is always a party. Alot like eating at a friends house with family style serving.
The food is amazing as well as the atmosphere.
Havent been down for a couple of years now. Guess I need to make the trek.
