Grover, you have to take delivery in the states or it's about 35% more. The least expensive plan gives you 250 down and about 30-50 up with one e-mail address. the 69 a month gives you 10 e-mail addresses, about 500 down and 40-60 up with 10 megs of personal web space.

the top plan is the 480 with built in 4 port router and 15 e-mail addresses outlined above.

you will need to get certified to operate a satellite transmitter but it's a breeze and I will help you. 3-4 hour course on the INTERNET and web based test. you can print out the whole course and use it as a reference to take the on line test.

the tripod is very cool and is the same one our military uses for it's portable VSAT's.

the whole set up uses very little power (average of 55 watts) and with a small 69 dollar inverter plugged into your vehicle you are good to go.

for $19 a year you can use crystal voice at 3.9 cents a min to ring phones in the states and make calls (there is a 1-2 second delay).
