You are most correct Bernie, I bet the Dali Lama himself is the only person on the planet that I can think of that has more empathy than Doug. Man, he puts up with a lot of crapola from nosotros.

Doug... well, he certainly has the patience of a saint!

yankeeirishman - 7-17-2005 at 09:47 AM

I am honored to have my name on this list! :?:

But I cannot single anyone out for their good/bad deeds here at this forum. It's sort of like poll. Polls divide the mass(?).

Ones here with the most feelings is EVERYONE(!) here that responds to the posts (or inserts them).

Bragger!

I lived in Carlsbad way back in 1946 when it was a wonderful village.

movinguy - 7-17-2005 at 01:28 PM

I wish Bernie - not much of a village any more. My daughters go to Carlsbad High - built in 1958 with a capacity of 1500 and now has around 3500 enrolled. Don't know where all the people are coming from that can afford $800,000 homes either . . . :?:

yankeeirishman - 7-17-2005 at 01:52 PM

Carlsbad used to be boss beach! We used to go there....before the first arrival of home tracts. Was wonderful.

Hey...that fish you are holding sorta looks funny to me...a fake? :bounce:

Hey Poke...is the temps the same in SQ? Also..the water temps there, you know what it is?

pokey - 7-17-2005 at 03:04 PM

Woops I posted in the wrong thread!! Then deleted this post. Major brain fart.

I'd say the water temps are in the high fifties low sixties but I'm just guessing. I'm cold blooded as hell so those water temps are quite comfortable to me. SQ is probably about the same but I can't be sure.

South of Santo Tomas,

jrbaja - 7-17-2005 at 03:11 PM

the water tends to cool off by a few degrees. I believe they call it the Japanese current or something like that and it hits around the Santo Tomas area.
San Quintin has the big bay and lot's of sand so the water may actually warm back up in that area.
