Baja Nomad T-shirts ???

Diver - 8-23-2005 at 03:32 PM

Doug,

Any Nomad T-Shirts available ??
I was just thinking it might be a good way to "run into" other Nomads while travelling down south.

Anyone else interested ?
How about a few XL's in 100% cotton ?
Long and short sleeve ??

BajaNomad - 8-23-2005 at 03:54 PM

Check your u2u.

I could use a contact for a good quality/value silkscreen printer, if anyone has someone they would like to refer. The person I had lined up for that and myself have parted ways.

I've been told by an esteemed member of the board here that there should be an option for a pocket on the shirts, so they have somewhere to put their glasses and/or smokes.

;)

Doug...
I've got a great guy up here in Washington who did my shirts. Do you already have a logo?

bajaloco - 8-23-2005 at 04:11 PM

If it's got a pocket, you can keep it...

jerry - 8-23-2005 at 04:17 PM

pockets work for me i quite smoking 3 months ago but my pockes are still full??

Anonymous - 8-23-2005 at 04:27 PM

Can I get one that says 'Anonymous'? ....with pocket, please.

Neal Johns - 8-23-2005 at 04:42 PM

Two Large w/pocket & collar works for me.

I will take a petit size, please....no pocket.

Anonymous - 8-23-2005 at 04:53 PM

Frank - 8-23-2005 at 06:18 PM

Tank tops, Ill pay extra if its a problem.

Mike Supino - 8-23-2005 at 06:37 PM

Please don't forget the XXXL's por los amigos grandes. Pockets are good.

Mike Humfreville - 8-23-2005 at 07:23 PM

I would buy some with pockets. Great idea! If I can help by looking into the silk screening deal let me know. Also, I still need replacements for my Amigos de Baja bumper stickers which are falling off. I'd pay anything reasonable for either of these items.

David K - 8-23-2005 at 07:29 PM

Doug knows how I feel about Baja promotional items! We Baja nuts love shirts and stickers that say Baja on them! Baja Nomad is for sure a 'club' and would be great for us all to sport and show a kinship! I like the idea of a comic 'Anonymous Nomad' shirt as well, or some variations like maybe: "I am a Baja Nomad LURKER" or "Soon to pass JR and DK in posts on Nomad!"

You know, all in good fun!

Bruce R Leech - 8-23-2005 at 07:44 PM

I like um all:biggrin:

David K - 8-23-2005 at 07:52 PM

Shirt pockets are super important to me... a place for glasses, pens, notes, cards, cell phone...

Anonymous - 8-23-2005 at 08:07 PM

I am keeping count of my own posts...and will embroider the number on my Nomad t-shirt myself! Move over DK and JR! :)

Anonymous - 8-23-2005 at 08:11 PM

...and bless you, Bruce, for saying you like all us anons. "I like um all:tumble:"

rpleger - 8-23-2005 at 08:20 PM

Pockets are good.

Bajaboy - 8-23-2005 at 08:22 PM

I'm thinking you should get some Ballena holsters with the Nomads emblem on them. It would be even cooler if they had some kind of insulation to keep the beers cold.

And HATS !
Baja Nomad baseball style hats !?
I'd take a few.

THE DEMAND IS THERE----see your u2u.

Pockets are cool, even if you don't smoke, and you can keep your donor cards right next to your heart.

wilderone - 8-24-2005 at 01:16 PM

Put a small button on the pocket, so when you bend over your chapstik and stuff don't fall out. And 1/2 ply, 1/2 cotton would better - dries more quickly, doesn't shrink, doesn't wrinkle as much.

Diver - 8-24-2005 at 02:40 PM

No, No, No, to buttons on pockets and to poly-anything !
I want to wear it in Baja comfort, not have it be wrinkle free and last forever !

zforbes - 8-24-2005 at 02:42 PM

I'd like a female style, please, with little cap sleeves and a v neck, and maybe just a touch of...just kidding. We all certainly have our styles! Zoe

Diver - 8-24-2005 at 02:49 PM

Female style is OK anytime ! For females only, of course !!

Neal Johns - 8-24-2005 at 02:59 PM

Ballena holster? No, no, 9mm holster!:lol::lol::lol:
Well, maybe Mountain Dew holster.:P:P:P

Two hats, also.

Cotton (at least part) is good in the heat.

DK, can Antonio get a deal in Tijuana?

David K - 8-24-2005 at 03:08 PM

Yes... the problem is wanting top quality and good ideas for designs... I even can get Doug hooked up with a Baja cartoonist to do some cool art work... But Doug, like many of the rest of us, needs to put food in the family's mouth.... and he wants it to be top quality before producing.
Money, ... just takes money...

Perhaps if we can send in our checks and allow 6-8 weeks for shipment (like so many mail order companies do business)... Then he will have the capital to get the stuff rolling??!!

Neal Johns - 8-24-2005 at 03:18 PM

Doug,
I have to squeal on Nomad TacoFeliz, he is a excellent professional graphic artist - if you need artwork, lean on him.

turtleandtoad - 8-24-2005 at 03:46 PM

Shirts (with pocket, no collar), hats, bumper stickers (for my new RV) are all on my list of things to get before I head south in Feb. Let's get this thing rolling!

I want mine blank..so I can do a little doodling..

Anonymous - 8-25-2005 at 04:34 AM

and more...with washable chalk of course!

Anonymous - 8-25-2005 at 04:40 AM

Howdy folks. May I rejoin you? Please excuse an old funster. I couldn't resist the fun 'lurker' aspect of returning to cyberspace after a trip to the outback. I hope I was one of Bruce's, Sharks, and other's 'good anons'? Felipa will kill me for this, I imagine.

Not so anonymous....Pompano. ;D (now to get back to the log-in thing!)

Bruce R Leech - 8-25-2005 at 06:36 AM

You missed all the anon crap that's been goin' on. I think the cowards mentioned you too in their pathetic diatribe.

Oh, did you have any probs with misquitos the size of pteradactyls or the pesky no-seeums.

Sharksbaja - 8-26-2005 at 12:04 PM

Hey looky this shirt....

Debra - 8-27-2005 at 03:31 PM

Doug, contact Doc. at Camp Gecko, he has nice quailty T's and get's them in TJ. I'm sure he could let you know where he gets them.

Hats would be good

(I vote for no pockets)
