I am just starting to use skype. I have skypeout credits but am having trouble dialing a regular phone. How do I get the + sign on the key pad and
what is the us code.

Go under the dial tab. Look at the bottom. You can put the cursor in the box and type straight from the key board. For the US use +1 (area code)
(number).

For MX, use +52.

Yes, the + works with Skype. What is not standard about using the plus. I use it all the time on my cell phone.
