Google Earth and GPS tracks!

Taco de Baja - 9-22-2005 at 09:41 AM

Those of us who have played with google (http://earth.google.com/) earth know how cool it is.

Now along comes a program that will allow us to add GPS tracks to google earth! Have not tried it yet, but looks like a cool addition. We can now "fly" the route we drove! And probably view our favorite annotated camping spot from all angles

I just installed the latest version of Mapsource (Garmins program for waypoint loading to the GPSr) and it allows GPS tracks to be viewed on Google Maps. Before that was only available in the 'Plus' version which was not free. Google maps did allow importing of waypoints, but having the tracks too is great.
