HI, SEVERAL YEARS AGO I STAYED AT THE OLD SPORTSMAN LODGE. I KNOW IT CLOSED DOWN A LONG TIME AGO AND I WAS WANDERING IF IT EVER OPENED UP AGAIN WITH A

In the 60's my dad went there... flew in with Ed Tabor in his DC-3(?) with other 'flying sportsmen'. He raved about it... The cover photo of Ray
Cannon's 'SEA OF CORTEZ' was taken at the Flying Sportsmen Lodge. Last time I stayed there was in 1976. Ed opened a second fishing resort on Magdalena
Bay...
