I too am looking for something on the Sea of Cortez. It appears that Mulege area is one of the least expensive areas compared with Loreto and south
to La Paz. I think it has something to do with no large airport nearby. I like the more funky, more mexican towns like Santa Rosalia.
I picture my place on the beach and not in town but close enough to get supplies. My friends and I like to play music, fish and look for adventures.
