I have always been a Baja East coaster but want to poke around on the West coast this summer. Thinking about taking the cutoff over to Pta Abreojos
(which I think is around Vizciano?) staying a few days there and then heading along the coast to Bahia Asuncion then on to Bahia Tortugas for a few
days and then back over to hwy 1 and home, 10 days total.
Is 10 days enough? Is the road along the coast easy to navigate and doable in a 2 wheel drive full size truck? What kind of accomodations in
Abreojos,Asuncion,Tortugas? (gas/food/lodging?)Will be self contained and plan on camping some but a hotel and shower would be nice too! What type of
weather in mid August (foggy mornings/days?) Pangas available for fishing?
Any specific or general advice, info or tips would be appreciated!
