why go back??

chino - 2-26-2006 at 11:52 PM

Just back from two months in Baja and we are well into the planning stages for the next one! People may ask why we always go back, and for us it's a no brainer but for those who havent been there is no answer. The things that will bring me back next time are the afternoon offshore backlit headhigh seven sister waves, the coktiel de almejas in San Quintin, the sunrises on the cortez, the sunsets on the pacific, the bag of oranges that I didnt buy along the road in San Bartollo, the free diving at Cabo Pulmo, the 4 or 5 fish that rocked me and broke me off, the sandy road out to Punta Arena(sur), the lefts at conejo, the still kicking langosta dropped into the hot oil, the corvina at boca de Animas(mag bay), the pan de datil in San Ysidro, all of the un-eaten carne asada tacos(Chelleys in TJ es lo mejor), and all of the old and new friends and the friends that we havent met yet, and if I could figure out how to attach a photo it sums up all the above and more,(any help ?)
we hope on our next trip to meet some nomads as some of you guys seem to like the same things we do!

Until they quit squealing!

Seriously, until they turn pink. Just like shrimp...not too long

Your right on! Then there's the tacos pascado, and the almejas chocolate con sal y limon. I'm already doing things to get ready for my next trip.
