what are the issues with buying a car from a local in Baja???
I am looking at buying an old Manx to run around in.........

If it has a Mex license plate, you must have a Mex driver's license.
And Mex insurance - different than what you get for your US plated vehicles.

You will have to come to La Paz, and there are people there at Transito ( On Colima) that will do the whole thing for you very reasonable. You will
have to have your blood type and the usual doc.'s.
