Sharks, since you're in the food biz maybe you can explain the connection of Chinese food and the story of the resurrection. Very confusing to me. Eggrolls on the Whitehouse lawn (and at all the sunrise services on lawns of churches all over the U.S. I suppose). We're having leg of lamb tonight.

Oh fer sure Osprey! Chinese corporate executives were to blame. They were in the Middle East seeking oil for their explosive population. Upon their arrival they were greeted by a bunch of priests whose curiousity was piqued by the travelers appearance. While they talked it was soon apparent that food rather than oil was the subject of the day. The priests invited them to supper.
Unbeknownst to the Chinese contingency was the discovery of the Tomb of Chirst had been opened thusly resurrected. When they were told of this grand event , they were inspired to partake in celebrations that night.

When the Chinese arrived at the humble residence of the Priests they presented them with eggrolls painted with elaborate designs. The priests were so impressed they asked them to show them their method. Since the eggrolls were prepared with the last remaining ones they had brought with them, they looked for another option.
Glancing over, a young Chinese man spyed a hen sitting on a clutch of eggs. He wondered " would it be possible"? After the festivities when all awoke none could remember what they did with the eggs they received. They all started looking, high and low. Sure enough, they were all found, save one. They were so happy they decided to make sure to look every year for that missing eggrole. The rest is history.
Somewhere though many hundreds of years back, the Europeans got confused and the Eggroll paintings were turned into rolling painted eggs on a day to remember the event.

Go figure.

Pretty simple explanation IMHO.

sidenote:
don't forget what those Russians did with eggs!:bounce:WOW!
