Hi,
We know the dead puffer fish that wash up on shore can be very dangerous for dogs. Just how much of a problem is this for those of you who live there
and have pets?

our weiners... just last weekend
smelled them and walked away...
remember we have had puffer fishermen at the beach....
that is good tasting fish...but dangerous.

Lost a dog at Puerto Escondido in Sept of 1975. Obviously poisoned, pretty remote place then, dead puffers on the beach, chief suspect in my mind.Bob and Susan - 6-3-2006 at 05:53 PM
