Corkie I
Check website called Wundergroundweather. I use it before head out on our trips. Can check for usually a week in advance, and there is also a clickable "prior dates" to see what historically has happened in certain times. Good luck, and enjoy your trip.

Have fun! Dont' know if you are camping or hoteling....But, Pete's Camp is a great and friendy place....it about 7miles north of the town.

Corky, I was not trying to be a smart a**... I told you what it was LAST YEAR when I was in Gonzaga, then drove north to Mexicali on Sunday (rain and sun, see http://davidksbaja.com/1102/page2.html and beyond). What actually happened to me, I can be sure of. Nobody will know (for certain) what the future holds. If you really want to be in Baja, are some forecasters going to stop you? Take a chance, live dangerous, bring a tarp to sleep under...
Hope to see you there... flag me down for a beer and Viva Baja sticker!

Corky 1, I've never seen it down as low as 40 in the night at gonzaga, though I suppose it could this time of year especially inland a little. The sea right on the water keeps the temps up a bit. I have been there all times of the year and spent many weeks there at the end of November. Look for lows 50 to 55, with the very good possibility of a lot of wind. On the bright side, if the wind isn't blowing the seas will be calm as can be. Basically it is a crap shoot, but you won't freeze your bum off. You might get it blown away though.

I pitted and camped out at the Coco's turnoff at HWY 1 last Friday night for the race. It was 40 degrees at around 3-4 AM. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Bring Jack Daniels.
