capt. mike - 7-10-2006 at 05:39 AM

i posted this on the BBP but thot others here might know sumthin too.

"we wanted to pick up a bunch of vino in Guadalupe valley, either via flight to MMES and get a car, or to Brown and drive it from tecate. but you can't get any qty back in. Tecate told me they weren't set up for processing duties fees, i was wondering if anyone has worked with any of the customs brokers on the field at Brown? can one bring a load in and have them do the processing so Customs is cool with cases instead of a lousy 1 liter PP coming thru??"

or am open to other ideas.
the Temecula wines have gotten too expensive for the quality. i now believe Guad valle to be an excellent bargain.

had a 2003 Santa Tomas nebollio at Jardines in SQ last weekend and it was fantabulous!!:bounce:

You used to have to have a Liquor Dealer license to bring any quantity into Calif.
