Just back from a trip to Los Barriles(from San Jose) and the desert is truly green. A magnificant green that makes you smile.
The malas mujeres are so thick on the sides of the road that you shutter to think about a flat or any other car trouble that would require that you
pull off the road and get out of your vehicle. The lomboys have wonderful curly leaves all over them. The palo verdes are, well, verde. The Palo
Adans are green from top to bottom. Alas they have already bloomed. The desert floor is alive with grasses and other small plants that just lie in
wait for some water?kind of like those ghia pets.
What a beautiful trip. If you are in BCS get out and see what a miracle rain is to an otherwise brown, dry vista.

Woody....sorry, the one day I didnt have my camera. It was in another car.
