I'm single, no family in the area and staying home this year. I'd like to stay close to the border, maybe exploring south of La Rumerosa, Laguna
Hansen, Tajo Canyon, the Parque Nacional Constitucion de 1857, etc.

Hola Encantada, please remember that it may be very cold in the Sierra Juarez, even snowing.
Beach camping near San Felipe is an option, maybe. Or stay on the desert side of Tajo. Did you see Jide's photos of Tajo? http://community-2.webtv.net/thebaja/jide
