Can anyone let me know what day you think it would be better to cross the border North at San Ysidro and what time this weekend? I know it is labor

I'd try an early afternoon return after most of the holiday weekend traffic has passed going south and the morning northbound traffic is done.

(I drive at night a lot).....if you don't want traffic jams....cross late evenings ....except sunday night of course....

I have the Sentri pass, but in going back and forth quite often in TJ and Otay, it appears that after 6pm on the weekends are the best time to cross.
All of the locals have crossed to shop in the states and the us people have either crossed earlier or will come back later when they are good and
