Resize your mug to 50kb and try to paste again.
Or, uses a hosting site like Photobucket or Imageshack to upload and store your pictures; and then copy the URL link of picture's location to the mug

Photo bucket, and webshots, and a bunch of places allow the images to be uploaded, and then they will give you he URL to put places like here.
