Directions to Sentri Line in Otay Mesa

cathart - 10-19-2006 at 01:30 PM

I want to take that wonderful new road going from Popotla to Garita Otay. I actually did it the other day, and it was quite spectacular. Now I would like to go to the Sentri Line via that road, but don't know how to get to the Sentri access road. Also, can somebody tell me where to leave my husband off, who doesn't yet have his pass, so he can walk across--and where can I pick him up after I cross.

Thank you.

Dont know ....

But, is there a turn-off from the toll road into the new road?
Came south through there yesterday and couldn't see anything.

I already know how to get to the road itself, what I need to know is once I get almost to the Garita Otay, how do I get to the Sentri Line--because although access to the Garita Otay from the main road is simple enough, it does not take you to the Sentri line, but only to the regular gates.

And, BTW, you do need to get on the road via the Free Road, NOT the Toll Road!

Sentry line...

Cathart,

To access the Sentry line is very simple:

The road that takes you to the Otay's Garita is called "Blvd. Bellas Artes", now, when you arrive to the Garita's access, you will see a carwash right there, just a few meters before that carwash, there is another street, take it and that is the one that goes to the Sentry line.

Your husband can ride with you, and just before crossing the border, you can drop him off almost infront of the monument there (a mexican couple dancing).

Once you cross the border, take your first exit to the right, then take the first exit to the right again, that is Roll Dr.... at the end of that street you can pick up your husband.

Hope the directions are not confusing.
