Anyone know if any of the cell operators down south offer a prepaid hi-speed wireless card for laptops? I'd use my Blackberry as a modem, but
Cingular wants to charge me double what I pay for data service to add this "tethering" capacity.

I am interested in your question...I am using Verizon's new express card and the DSL performance is almost equal to any DSL I have had.
I do not know how far down it will keep working, but will test it in Ensenada and will try to get something that will work there. Hope to be there
tomorrow...Anyone have a address for a cell phone provider there? Has to be a major shop, I would think.
