If you didn't add a space or two after a URL previously, the link didn't work right.
Bug has been fixed. Should work properly now.

It won't work, however, if you use some sort of bracketing around the URL, such as this:
(http://forums.bajanomad.com)
[http://forums.bajanomad.com]
...but will work in this instance if you give it a space:
( http://forums.bajanomad.com )
< http://forums.bajanomad.com >
[ http://forums.bajanomad.com ]
