Matomi Question

Heard there's going to be a potluck Saturday night. I have made tamales, but need a rough idea of how many people will be potlucking.

David K, do you know?

We've got a hotel room at the Ramada in El Cajon, on Ocotillo. Hope to get an early start Saturday morning from there.
Driving the H2, yellow. Say hello if you see us!

While one Nomad did suggest a pot luck... nobody else has responded. I am not sure what I am bringing, but it will be simple.

'Mary' who has a home in Playa Mexico has suggested us to have a pancake breakfast at the community center, 7 am Saturday morning. That's in Ejido Delicias (behind Dr. Lopez' office) 2 miles south of Nuevo Mazatlan. $4/pp.

El Cajon to Nuevo Mazatlan will be about 5 hours.

See you there!

I'm bringing a box full of fire wood. I hope some others bring some too. We are spending the night near El Centro and will head south early Saturday morning, stopping briefly in San Felipe before finalizing our trip down in Nuevo Mazatlan.

Did I say El Cajon? I meant El Centro! Don't think we'd be in time for that pancake breakfast.

I am bringing 6 firelogs, each burns 3 hours. Have found that one or two logs with a few pieces of wood at a time makes a great fire for a group. I am not bringing any firewood, figure someone else can do that since I have the firelogs.

Bob -- we will also be stopping briefly in San Felipe, likely for breakfast. If you see the H2 be sure and say hello.

As far as the tamales, I guess we'll just be pigging out on them ourselves...

I will try your vegge tamales, Suzanne!

Yah, El Cajon didn't make much sense. El Centro to Nuevo Mazatlan: 3 hours!
