Wasn't it 1.5 million last week?

Nice Digs

Too rich for my blood. So, do you have anything along the lines of a one-bedroom Palapa? A fixer-upper is OK.;)

capt. mike - 12-31-2007 at 07:52 AM

look at those fabulous pictures!! at a mil and a quarter that place is a killer bargain. is that the san carlos plaza in the view?
there are 1-2 mil dollar fricken semi custom tract homes in metro phx now, all over the place. to get an ocean front property for a similar cost is absolutely unreal! some lucky stiff will get that place, wish it was me.

Hermosa_Vista - 12-31-2007 at 11:43 AM

You are right Mike. Plus how many houses are for sale in the Sea of Cortez with a dock. Probably only one in 2,000 miles of coast line. You can be out in the bay in 3 mins literally. Isla Tortuga and Conception Bay can be reached in 3 hours.

The Guaymas international airport is 15 mins from the house. So anyone with a plane can fly in directly.

The property is listed by Century21, but a 2.5% comission is open to anyone that finds the buyer.

Reason for selling :?:
Title dispute :?: On a fault and ready to fall in the ocean.:?:
Shoddy construction and ready to collapse :?:
My neighbor's house is for sale for $1.2. It's on a golfcourse, but there's no way she could match your pictures.
Makes one wonder.:?:

That is truly an awesome house!
How's the fishing there?

What have we been talking about for the last 6 month to a year...crime. This is the first property IMO priced to risk...if I could afford this as a second home and 1.25 mil would not cripple me if the government kicked me out...this is a good deal. 1/2 acre on Baja coast for 1/2 mill is a ripoff...

Beautiful pics on the website. Maui Jims required.

Al,
You'll never win an essay contest.:P
But somehow I will try to figure out how this relates to my questions.

Al G - 12-31-2007 at 04:23 PM

I may not win an essay contest...some people may judge their intelligence by contest and if that is all you have to rely on then I understand your confusion.
If any of your questions were in fact reality it would be extremely overpriced...why is so difficult for you to understand price to risk?
Trying to sale a modest house in the dump of Loreto Bay, or any other Baja enclave, for 1.2 mil is an act of fantasy...:P:P:lol:

I see.
Your reference to crime and the, getting kicked out by the government, factor, explains the price of that property.:?:
Wish I had your insight.

And Al, my question post was just my feeble attempt at being facetious. If you follow the Southern Baja real estate market and see similar compounds for sale around Cabo for 2 to 3 times that amount, makes you wonder if something is wrong somewhere.
If a place like this , with private large dock, would be available anywhere around the corridor, no telling what they would want for it.

capt. mike - 1-2-2008 at 06:35 AM

different markets totally. San Carlos ain't cabo or los cabos.
i'd take San CaRLOS anytime over the cape if spending a mil.

Do they take American Express???
