heads up. I noticed no cars/no campers south on Free Beach when I returned to El J for the season. just drove down the access road today to find out
why. the road is washed out shortly after the power line and impassable to campers/trailers/RVs though a few 4x4s have made it through. I will hike
the rest, check it out and get a further report back here. I assume the road will remain closed until if/when the city of Loreto gets a roadgrader
out there. bummer.

Thank you...this beach is our last stop before La Paz when we drive down the first of December. We stay there for our dog after 3 days of driving and
hotels. Lots of running around and exploration needed to balance things out (for the people too). Please report back. Thanks.

I hope no one was stuck camping on the beach and can't get out. The last time I was there, at least four campers in trailers or 5th wheels apeared to
have set up a nice beachfront home.

That road doesn't look any different than I've seen it in the past 18 years I've been driving it.?????? Be down there in a couple weeks. Will have
to check it out.

I was in there with my AWD Astro which has a lot of clearance, It was the worst I have ever seen it, Not that you can't get in but !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

two Mexican pick ups on the beach last weekend. three gringo rigs now camped there. drop into arroya now more gradual. big rigs and longer tow
vehicles, stop and scout first. if you can get into the arroya...it should be getting better and better with every passing vehicle...you can make it
to the beach. yeah!!!
