Here is one for you.
Why do a lot of the native born of Baja call people from Mexico City (and some Gringos) Yo!Yo! men? Just picture it.
I'm intrigued...

All I've ever heard is, "P-nches Chilangos (or Gringos). 
Could it be a reference to the meaning of the word Yo! in Spanish and their greater tendency towards selfishness!

You got that one exactly correct. Yo Yo is I--I and a lot of people believe that Mexico City people and some gringos are way to self centered. They
never listen to others, only to themselves.
Close to home I do believe!

Many people which come from their perceived seat of power - the capitol of a country, the capitol of a state, the headquarters of a corporation, a
larger city - beleive their ideas MUST be more importand and accurate than any lesser person from such a inconsequential place.
sorry AA bur much of acadamia is that way also.
