Air fares to Mexico - in particular Cabo and Mexico City are about as low as I've seen them. The best deals I've encountered can't be had through the
normal discount ticket sites - they're being sold at the airlines' own sites in their own discount sections. If you're flexible it might be worth
your time bookmarking Aeromexico and Mexican airlines.
For example as of right now Aeromexico is offering a round trip tickets to Cabo from San Diego for 165 - I see this trip listed occasionally for 145 .
Or roundtrip Mexico City from Chicago or Salt Lake for 239 - check out:

A little "buyer beware" notice on those airfairs - a couple of the people I heads upped on these fares bought them ($140 round San Diego to Mazatlan,
I believe), but the taxes came out to another $90, so they're still a good deal, but not quite the gonga they initially seem. - Stephanie
