I wish he woulda dropped a bible on my head prior to the woodchopping fun. But, it definitely got my attention hahahahahahaha
Germanicus - 6-15-2004 at 02:29 PM
o.k. you agreed in the deal???
I'm picking up MY bottle someday.
Now here's my advice that something like that never will happen again:
drink as much as you want, before or later, don't relay on God! all that is not the problem, BUT TAKE THE AX INTO BOTH HANDS !
hahahahaha Good advice
jrbaja - 6-15-2004 at 03:03 PM
but, who knows what I'd be trying to chop off then. Think I'll stick with the fingers.
That ol axe (hatchet) was made for me from a leaf spring when we were going backpacking up in the hills.
The very first time I used it was that incident.
I thought it a little peculiar when the craftsman asked how sharp I wanted it. They KNOW sharp!
Germanicus - 6-15-2004 at 04:59 PM
well, that was what I was thinking > a handmade axe.
look at the way they put it around the handle.
completely un-orthodox!
it really looks like an ol spring.
but tell you what, if that was a leaf-spring > with such a metal > that axe will outlive you > no matter how old you are already.
(you better feeel young!)
take care and have a nice day.

well, well, well, to take the axe upsides-down (like in the one pic in the middle) it hurts more, as the thumb is just squeeeeeessssed away.
be careful with that solution.
Is that u with the axe in hand??????
Take care and have a good one
