If I had to take a bet:
it will happen within next 20 years!

It wont happen, its not in the best interest of both the Mexican and the American elite.

border

In some parts of Texas the border doesn't exist, except when army soldiers on our side murder kids tending their goats.

The difference between Tijuana and San Ysidro is bit sharp, but my brother says the only difference between Juarez and El Paso is the street signs are in spanish.;)

Down to the border

If you get away from the border cities in Texas, such as Juarez-El Paso, particularly in the rural areas along the Rio Grande, there is no difference. I was on a ranch near Redford, Texas, last year, and stood on the bank of the Rio Grande, that I could have crossed with little difficulty since there is very little water. I talked to ranch hands who had lived and worked on both sides of the river for decades.

"Eliminating the border" is a super idea as long as it's BOTH WAYS. That means Gringos get to buy land, vote and own businesses.

If that happened the toilet that Mexico presently is would cease to exist in two years. Jobs would happen, clean water and sewers would be provided, telephone service and decent roads would spring up at affordable prices and, after a time, elections would get more honest.

"An Open Border" always means that Mexicans get to come here, get a job, a drivers' license and the right to vote without paying taxes and learning what made America great.

Give your basic Gringo entepreneur a free hand in Mexico for a coupla years and a lot of Mexicans would rather be there than here....we might have to pay higher wages for their work...wow! How about that?

Elections would get more honest? Like our last one?

Now stop it Mexitron... that's what the off topic board is for! :)

Bonanza, then there is no point in borders... the greatness that is America has to be contained at some point, no? Otherwise the whole world would be prosperous and free... and we just can't have that, right? LOL!!!!
