Great project you have going there Donjulio, all the best in your endevors. I think many local communities could benefit from starting a project such as yours...

Great website and cause.

Thanks you guys. Our little town needs it right now. I know others have the same issues. One of the things we feel is really important is to focus on the town helping the town and not look too much to outside help. We have a good start on that but we are also doing a back up plan.

Our sponsorship program is expanding into the US and we are seeking out members of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in different cities for sponsorship. Only $10 per month per business. Feeds a lot of people with a couple hundred sponsors.

So can we drop off our left over food and vegies we don't wish to take back across the border? Also, I always bring down a grundle of clothes. I'll bring them there next time! Great job.

Where is this located in San Felipe and which days are they open?

Yes fruits, vegetables and canned/boxed goods go to the elderly and the shut-ins as well as rice, beans, flour and oil.

We have a store within a store and the clothes, shoes, belts, purses (anything like that) get sold and the money is used for the handicapped children. Clothes are also given away when needed.

Bajawarrior - the store is open 7 days a week from 10AM to 6PM. Going north it is just past the arches on the right. Big orange building, can't miss it.

Thanks DonJulio, thought we saw it as we drove past yesterday but wasn't able to confirm with an address on the website. We will certainly stop in on our next trip.

Yes we would be very grateful to have a space/link. Anything that will help us grow. I went out again yesterday afternoon and early evening to sign up more local businesses.

I am really happy with the commitment the locals are making. Everyone is a little concerned about keeping the commitment during the summer. Even a hundred pesos is a lot for some of them but they are willing to try.
