Asuncion, Looking for a lot

El Comadante Loco - 7-6-2011 at 10:57 AM

Seriously think of buying a lot or house in Asuncion. Has anyone bought there recently? Open to location of lot, beach or in town.
Any idea on prices?
Any information is appreciated..

there are a variety of lots on the market here starting at 20,000 pesos for ejido lots in the back of town up to 30 grand close to the water...some town lots for around $10,000 US dollars and up to $50,000 dollars for nice beach view lots of which there are very few available...price per meter went from 20 pesos a meter to 200 pesos a meter and that is for village lots that arent "pre-owned". There are some cheaper lots with no view and not real well located but the nice thing here is there is power and water, phones and a great climate.

There is a lot for $8,000 with an ocean view in front of where a Chivato-ite is building rental units....fire sale type of thing. there are also some lots for lease with ocean views or leased spots for an RV. You really need to come and look at them.

If you're going to make the big step, buy all the dirt between you and the water, otherwise you may someday be looking at the back side of a hovel.

It's been mentioned to me that you can go to the government offices there in town and ask what's available. Just an option you may try. ??
