My mom Elena and her boyfriend Leon have just built this guest palapa on their property at Shipwreck's Beach, San Jose. At just $60 per night/$385 per
week for two people it's a great deal (somewhat more around Christmastime). It's just steps the the water and the room itself has two single which
beds can be attached to make a double and an amazing ocean veiw.
Shower use in the main house, drinking water, parking and WiMAX/Wifi are all included, and for a very reasonable price Elena can cook you up great
meals if you let her know in advance.

I'm actually writing this for Elena & Leon who've lived at Shipwreck's for over 25 years, but I get down there a couple of times of year
myself...it's a truly *amazing* spot!
