Telnor DSL users - please read this.

BajaNomad - 10-14-2004 at 11:00 AM

I continue to receive emails from a Telnor DSL customer that's not aware their system is infected with the Netsky virus and sending out emails with virus attachments. This has been going on for some time.

The emails use "from" addresses that are other Baja-related folks/businesses - which the virus is harvesting from other files on the computer system that's infected/affected.

So, if you're on Telnor DSL, will you please search your files/folders for a file named: "FVProtect.exe"

If that file is on your system (most likely in the Windows directory), you're probably affected/infected.

More info on the Netsky virus:

We've been getting the same spoofed e-mails here, with the address of the Baja folks for some time. Hope the infected computer gets fixed.
