Oh yes, I have hidden a couple as well, 3 years ago. One is still out there and being visited.

Tim Walker geocaches each trip and has nice photos of his finds and caches. Go to http://timsbaja.com and click on his trips to Gonzaga Bay and other places.

If you go to http://www.geocaching.com and click on Mexico it will bring all Mexican geocaches up. Find one in the part of Baja you will be going to and from that one, you can click a link to see the nearest caches to it without going back to the main page. I think Tim has a page that shows all Baja caches...?

Remember that the geocache location is given at map datum WGS84 (what the GPS is preset to from the factory), whereas most GPS details we give here is at the datum used by Mexican government map makers, NAD27Mexico. This is true of the Baja Almanac (which uses Mexican made topo maps).

There are a few cachers living here in San Felipe including myself. There are several caches in the San Felipe area some will take you to great spots.

Go to http://www.brillig.com/geocaching/mexico.shtml
and it will show you the locations of all in mexico. It us continually updated so always current.

Come on down and have a great time. U2U me if you have other questions if you like.

From http://timsbaja.com/
I found the story under
Pictures and Stories of my most recent trips to Baja -> Exploring Baja Norte - Jan. 23-27, 2004
scrolling down to the "Geocaching" Section

It would be great if there was a map of Baja with geocaches shown rather than a list with lat/lon's (http://www.geocaching.com/) which I find difficult to see unless entered in a GPS map.

The Buxley's link I listed earlier used to have all the caches shown but they say now they don't have the latest from Geocaching.com but are negotiating for them again. You can put your curser over a dot and the cache name will come up.

http://www.brillig.com/geocaching/mexico.shtml

It gives you a pretty good idea of the area of caches tho.
