60 Minutes (11/21) had an interesting story about a Kalahari endemic plant of the genus Hoodia. Eating a small amount of the flesh is said
to eliminate appetite for 1/2 a day or so. Attempts to synthesize the active agent in quantity have proven futile. Cultivation of the needy
succulent is now in progress. I wonder if anyone is growing this plant in Baja, as it would be well suited in many places?
Seems if this plant is marketable on some scale, it would be another source of income for Baja farmers.

I wonder if it happens to be native
