There is a large palapa that covers the fifth wheel that is on the property we are buying in Todos. The owner told us that after the fire at Tripuli,
the fire insurance was canceled and she has had trouble finding anyone who will cover. Has anyone had any experience with this lately?

dos the Palapa have a Palm roof? if so this is the problem.put tile on it and it will look nice and you should be able to get your insurance.

So are you saying that it is a fact that people are having trouble insuring anything that is covered by a palm palapa?
insurance is about investments

I was told by a friend in Loreto that insurance was "going away" when and if you had a palapa.
