Baja Calypso Bar & Restaurant, an Unreview

Since I haven't visited there yet, but I thought fellow Nomads would appreciate the heads up.

Baja Calypso is located inland and up the hillside facing the K38 surfing spot in Rosarito.

The very well-designed website shows photos of the dining area which offers stunning panoramic ocean views.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and the menu lists the prices, a nice touch that I find very helpful.

The restaurant is located right below the Sagrado Corazon de Jesus statue (Sacred Heart of Jesus) and they website has an easy-to-figure out Google map of how to get there from the free road (Mex 1).

Everything on the menu sounds yummy and I am looking forward to a visit.

It's in the old AnaMar location next to Taco Surf. Haven't eaten there yet, but they were very popular when located in Leucadia. They were sort of expensive in the states, maybe more reasonable here.

as an aside, we used to get the best tortas at Taco Surf in early 80's.
