This Duck was apparently sleeping when i took the photo.. That's a good balancing act on one leg with wings spread !

From that angle I think your bird is a Cormorant. Here's a shot of some Willets taking a nap I took a while back.

One-legged duck hops into a drugstore, asks for a tube of Chapstick. Druggist says, "cash or credit card?"... duck says, "put it on my bill".

So, the same duck enters the same drugstore (hopping on one leg) and asks for a pack of Trojan Ribbed Enz. Druggist says, "you want them on your bill too?" ... duck says, "I'M NOT THAT KIND OF DUCK!"
