Hey JR.
I know first hand that it's tough to SMILE sometimes around all those obnoxious
gringos, as you relate to them so often, but SMILE man. Especially in all that beauty of the Baja, it's kinda tough to figure out why you waste all
those noodle cycles on it all.
Life is way way too short to waste time on all the ugly stuff.
If in a bind and you get Wound Too Tight, try this method of S*M*I*L*I*N*G; it has always worked for me in real tough situations.

to speak Gaelic fluently, my priority this winter, spring, summer and early fall 2005 is to learn to converse in SPANISH, and hold my own, so I don't
have to feel like such a gumboot scrambling for the right words to converse in the native tonque of Baja. When Spanish people come to Canad, they try
their darndest to speak Canuck, so it's important to me to do likewise, out of my respect for the people of the Baja.
I have 3 good spanish lesson books, CDs, and not much in the way of people to bounce it off in Switzerland.
