This might just be the oddest boat trailer I've ever seen. I answered a Craig's List add for a Honda outboard, bought it and then the guy said, "It's
a package deal, you have to haul off the boat it was on." Towed fine going down the freeway for 90 miles. Anyone recognize these parts?

Cool trailer set-up.larryC - 2-8-2016 at 10:03 AM
Looks like a torsion bar with a coil spring assist. Volkswagen used torsion bars on the front of their vehicles for years. David K - 2-8-2016 at 10:32 AM
My Myers Manx dune buggy (built on a chopped VW bug) had torsion bar rear suspension (instead of conventional springs). The front had Koni coil-over
shocks (springs on the shock).Santiago - 2-8-2016 at 12:39 PM
