Landing at Cabo Pulmo

In Dec '77 the airstrip at Cabo Pulmo had already met its demise from a hurricane the previous season. So we picked a pair of vehicle tracks (or so we thought) running perpendicular to the beach to put it down on. The aim was to spend three days camping and diving. It was, and still is, private property. From a Spanish land grant to the Castro family.
Twenty years later, Jesus Castro told me we'd landed on the tracks made by his racehorses, used to exercise them.
