The season is upon us and there's some solid surf headed to Baja next week. Why am I posting this?

Because I'm headed south at just the right time and can't contain my joy.

Get some! You should really bee-line to the last place you scored and work your way back. I'll be at that spot on the 10-12th.

I'm not sure that spot will be working until the point where I'd need to turn around and head home. I'm only going about 200 miles down and looking for a place that does a Ralph's impression. :cool:

Didn't think so, have fun anyway. I am hoping for no surf here in AK this weekend, it makes it tough to beach launch an LFRB! (little f----ng rubber boat)

I am sure you can find something to ride 200 miles south. I hope the wind is your friend. At 195 and 196 from the shoulder it should be fun. I think your home break in Baja will be on fire.

Right now on base at Coronado it is 2-3 feet overhead and that west wind is holding them wide open! There is a big rip current west of the fence that is focusing the thumpers. Unmakeable sections but maybe in the morning when it's a tad smaller.

The surf in NP has been great. Tuesday was a bit walled but Wednesday and Thursday has been a wide open tubefest.
