What's that wave activity which develops in SoCal, then heads up the coast?

willardguy - 7-21-2016 at 02:54 PM

still, a little something for the huntington folks this weekend, better than a kick in the pants! ;)

woody with a view - 7-21-2016 at 05:49 PM

we've been getting minor sideband swell from Darby and Estelle. largest waves go out in the direction the storm is traveling. good time to be in Hawaii.

Jeepers....this string of storms has brought the central pacside coast lots of swell so the poor abalone fishermen havent been able to fulfill the quota as of yet....but the surfers are sporting big grins!

Frank is getting closer to the peninsula than the others...luckily the water temps up here havent warmed up like they did the last couple years...which is good for the abalone and to knock down hurricanes!
