Greg, I have two of your stickers (Gulf and Birding) on my Tacoma... put them there before leaving for El Rosario so all could see!
Call for photographs

Calling all amateur photographers! It's that time again:
We are preparing to change the home page photos on Baja & Gulf of California Conservation.org. The current photographs by Ken Bondy are an amazing
and inspiring sample of the wildlife and landscapes of Baja California and the Sea of Cortez.
For the next set of photographs we are looking for photos that *tell a story* of the relationship between people and the environment/ecology of the
Baja California peninsula and/or the Sea of Cortez (see the photo below for an example). However, there does not have to be people *in* the photo.
Why are we seeking photos of people in relation to the environment? Because we are all intimately connected to the environment our actions can
ultimately have positive or negative influences on the land or with the animals in that environment. The environment can provide us with profound
physical or spiritual experiences. Sometimes this connection brings up admittedly uncomfortable feelings, especially when an experience challenges our
deeply help beliefs. Whether the photo tells a ?positive? or ?negative? story, it?s this connection between humans and the environment that we are
looking for in the photographs.
We will select one photo each from seven different people. So pick your best shot (Multiple submissions are welcome if you have more than one you?d
like to enter). In return for selecting your photo it will appear on the home page one day every week for a minimum of 6 months. That?s a different
persons photo for each day of the week. Please remember to provide proper copyright information (e.g. copyright: joebaja 2005), date of photo,
location, names of people or animals if applicable, and a statement that says you took the photo. High resolution digital images are preferred.
Scanned images are ok if they are of high quality.
Send submissions to greg@bajacaliforniaconservation.org
Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for your interest and participation!
