Man allegedly killed wife, blamed violence in Mexico

I am willing to bet that most ( not all) of the 20 or so U.S. citizens that have dissapeared, have drug connections in Mexico.

your right Jesse. if you play with the devil you pay the price.

That's generally true Jesse - but not always.

The non-narco friend of a friend of mine in Mexicali was killed by narcos because he sat down in the wrong chair in a pool hall - and then didn't apologize profusely enough for the dastardly deed.

But yeah - it'd be less likely to happen to an american.

Braulio,
I hear you on that one. When I was quite a bit younger and, believe it or not, quite a bit stupider, I was in a pool hall in Ensenada and ended up betting against some very well dressed hardcore looking guys. They lost, numerous times, and things got ugly. They were trying to force people off the tables and being young and stupid there was quite a bit of chest bumping going on and maybe a few fook yous and a few hard shoves being thrown around. In retrospect I'm lucky my buddies and I didn't end up dead.
