Campo Turistico#1, San Felipe

Been in San Felipe for a couple of days and stayed at Kiki's Motel for 2 days - no A/C and thank the Lord I brought my fan as it was pretty warm even with the fan. The room rate was $55 so not sure if that was a weekday special or not. Have no complaints about the room other than no A/C but it was PACKED with RV's.
I was so glad to get out of there and I'm now tent camping at Campo Turistico#1 just north of Kiki's on a secluded beach with hardly any people - what a different after being at Kiki's! The Mexican family who runs this place is very nice and they will prepare meals if requested. Wi-fi, electricity, showers/bathrooms & water here. Won't have to wear earplugs tonight as I did as Kiki's as it's quieter.

Know the area very well, Kiki' s attracts winter RV Gringos,
then when it's gets 115 in Mexicali, it becomes a weekend
getaway for Mexicali residents, let's just say in that time
one is imursed in the culture, not saying I don't enjoy it.
Campo Numero Uno, just to the no. 1/2 mi., can be vacant and
perhaps a bit more rustic. Some people like in town, some like
no. of town, Pete's camp, some like seclusion so. Percebu, etc

DK, I tried to ride a mtn bicycle around the point to Pescador,
from the area of Campo # Uno, got a little too much deep sand.
I believe in an old Baja Explorer Mag there was a piece on
Pescador, primitive, great looking cove, which as you pointed
out in a previous post, is accessed off 5, maybe 4 mi. no. of
San Felipe, I believe there is a firework stand by the sand road
that goes in the direction of Pescador

Curious is all, what's the going rate for the Campo #1 per night with all amenities?

Thank you, next time down to work on the map-guide, I will check that out. I hope the road to El Pescador is open, too.

I paid 500 mxn for 2 nights and did ask for a discount. Wi-fi is pretty decent as I'm writing from there now. The Sea Shepherd and Mexican Marina were visible (with binoculars) for several hours this afternoon so hope they confiscated plenty of those gill nets.
Also...I'd rather be "roughing it" at a place like this than staying in a $55/night room with NO A/C or fan where the temp might drop a couple of degrees in the night.
