Thank you Mary.
Would you say the gully crossing halfway in is a 4WD suggested or just trucks and vans limited.
Nice you saw some pups in the crater. Thank you!bajamary1952 - 3-19-2017 at 08:54 AM
I drive a Toyota RAV4 (front wheel drive only) and had no problems navigating some of the steep hills. There was a regular car in front of me and it
didn't have any problems either.David K - 3-19-2017 at 10:47 AM
Good. Last September, the bottom of the arroyo had a new detour around the washed away roadbed and it was not smooth. A 2WD van was in there when we
were there.TMW - 3-19-2017 at 12:15 PM

Where is La Lobera please?stiladam - 3-19-2017 at 06:57 PM
AS the map shows, and if you are driving, the road is signed at Km. 47.5, which is 6 miles north of El Rosario and then 3.0 dirt miles west.
My first trip page on it was in 2005, and have watched the seafood restaurant and sea culture project there grow to my last trip, in 2016, when I
found the project deserted. The restaurant never opened.
Here's the photos from 2014 when Cameron Steele brought the TV show cameras there for his Trail of Missions Baja travel show...
Thank you Mary.

As of 4 weeks ago, La Lobera is a large parking lot, two rotted out banos, and the same old "hole in the ground" where you can watch the "sea wolves".
The structure is still there, but it's become a fishing co-op with no public access.
After 30 minutes watching the lobos, I took off exploring down the coast. I was in awe of what I saw! Here the desert meets the ocean. I've hit all
the hot spots down the pacific rim from Washington to California and in Peru. And this rates as one of my top places in terms of beauty and variety!
The road was in rough shape for my Chevy Express van, due to the recent spring rains. However, some folks anticipate a scrapping of the road soon. Nashville Frank - 3-28-2017 at 07:40 PM

I was there a few days ago. Rough road but a Mexican family was just leaving as we arrived in their mini van. Just sayin....
