Roca Consag (Consag Rock)

gringorio - 3-25-2017 at 02:59 AM

Those of you who have traveled through San Felipe may be familiar with Consag Rock. To the beach goer, it is a white rocky outcrop on the seas horizon when looking toward Puerto Penasco from San Felipe. I've wanted to go there for years and only recently had the chance. We were there for only an hour or so and had time to fly my small UAV to capture some aerial video. I recommend watching in HD and full screen:

Excellent video. I've always wondered what that rock looked like up close, now I know. Thanks.

I didn't know there were other rocks poking up near it. Must be the ridge of a small mountain. Otherwise, I think the northern Cortez is very flat sand bottom?

Thanks for posting a thumbnail of the video! I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Yeah, I wonder about the rocks formation. Seems really out of place.

Just yesterday, I showed Pappy Jon how to turn the YouTube link into the actual video player screen on Nomad, in the AAA map/ Matomi new thread by StuckSucks:

PS, to post a YouTube here on Nomad, you just need to create the correct tags.
Here is the link for the above video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K18S4jR1jcI
1) Get rid of the watch? and replace the = with a / https://www.youtube.com/v/K18S4jR1jcI

2) The front tag includes the size, and I like 640x480 for video pixels. So the tag is [flash=640x480 ] in front and [/flash ] in back (only without that extra spaces I inserted before the ending brackets)

[flash=640x480 ]https://www.youtube.com/v/K18S4jR1jcI[/flash ]

remove those spaces...

Or...

Just take the youtube video identifier, and...

[youtube=###x### ]identifier[/youtube ]

Close both brackets (without the space).

;)

Just something I put in the code quite a while back. Looks to still work.
