AT&T

I have had AT&T for decades, currently have five lines (me, three kids and father-in-law). We upgraded plan last year and got Mexico added free. You could call USA from Mexico for free, but not visa versa.

I went to Iceland last week and put another international plan on, and when I got back attempted to put Mexico calling/data/texting back on - they upgraded my plan (no charge or extra cost), add 5 GB data per month and added Canada. Also, you can call to Canada or Mexico from USA for free now.

Is it the cheapest? Probably not, but certainly convenient and worry free when I am in Mexico (or Canada if I go...).

You mean AT&T just gives this to you at no charge, how can that be.

AT&T is just finally mirroring what everyone else (besides Verizon) has been doing for a quite while now.

After 15 years with AT&T (iPhone user) I went to their prepaid carrier Cricket in 2015 and I'm elated at how well the cell and data service is both NOB and SOB, and the price is already very low, but I manage to also get an additional 15% off when the reload cards are an sale at Target. I buy a whole years worth for both of us.

I pay $38.25 per line including tax for 8GB data/ unlimited everything else.

When we changed to the 15GB family share couple of years ago unlimited calling out of Mexico, texting & 1 GB per data/roaming per month was included. They said the tweaked things and now Canada is added and we can call TO both countries.

I kept my att unlimited plan with Mexico data for the past 10 years. Att has the best baja coverage. My bills averaged $150, but it's business related. Last month I switched to the new att unlimited with tethering and Mexico shared unlimited data and cut my bill in half.

Att is the most expensive, but is the best. When my friends do not have a signal, I do. Could be their iphones....

AT&T in Mexico is the way to go. We have 6 lines. All my kids have been able to use data in Mexico w/o any extra cost for the last couple years.

I had been a loyal AT&T customer for nearly 15 years going back to when they were Cingular here in So Cal but after a few difficult interactions last month my wife and I switched to T-Mobile and we couldn't be happier.

Our plan includes unlimited call, text, and data on two phones in the US, Mexico, and Canada all for $100 a month. I was initially concerned about coverage but decided to go for it because they don't have contracts so if it was bad we would switch back. Drove to San Felipe two weeks ago from south Orange County and streamed Pandora music through my phone all the way into San Felipe and only once did the service cut out for about 5 minutes. We had fast 3G data in San Felipe and the coverage stateside has been fantastic. We are driving to Cabo in November so I'll weigh back in with the extent of the coverage then.
