Yes, you can John! You can do it!! :light:

Your photo is hosted on Photobucket, as are mine (to post on forums).
1) Click the edit button (above the photo, a square with a paintbrush)
2) Click the Enhance button (top left magic wand)
3) Click the Scenery button, and click Apply
4) Click SAVE (The original is untouched and you have a color enhanced duplicate)

That's pretty good... sounds like something one would say on Tacoma World!

LEASE a new one, or buy a used one (they hold their value amazingly, so used Tacomas have pretty high prices compared to any other brand).

My Toyota dealer was great at making it work and getting the exact truck model I sought (TRD OFF ROAD 4X4, Double Cab). This 2010 model I have now, I got for NOTHING down when I traded in my 2005 with 102,000 miles on it in 2009! Duff Joy at Toyota Carlsbad has sold (leased) all three of my Tacomas.

I could be in the market for the new and conceptual FJ Cruiser...if they retain the 4X4 system.

No, this is my final new truck. I have only driven it half the miles as my previous two Tacomas and 100 K is just the breaking in period for these trucks!

Hi Phil,
No, this photo was taken on my last trip (ended last week) exploring the roads between Hwy. 1 and the Pacific Coast. The photo was on the Rancho San Antonio (Codornices) road down the big grade and nearing Rancho La Miseria, about half way between the L.A. Bay Jcn. and the Pacific. Hang on, I will make a map!

Never been in that area but it looks beautiful. I would assume fuel is hard to come by. Good thing you weren't in a jeep.

LOL... Fuel from cans is at Punta Prieta, Cataviña, Santa Rosalillita. Fuel from pumps at Bahía de los Angeles, Bahía San Luis Gonzaga, El Rosario, and Villa Jesús María. If you can drive 200 miles with what you have in the tank and jerry cans, no worries. OR, have a friend with a 4x4 pickup truck along who can put more cans in the bed!

Our jeep get worse mileage than our F250 diesel truck! BTW the FJ's last model year was, sadly, 2014.

I thought I'd better try to keep pace with my friend David K and post a map to where my photo (red Tacoma) was taken - our route shown with red dotted lines - this is page 25 in the north/south Baja Almanac. San Ignacio would be off the bottom of the map quite a ways.
